Big Sis April 26 - Madonna of Sorrows

For this months big sis I wanted to create something that gives me the same feeling I get when I walk into old churches in Europe. They are so beautiful, but also there is this feeling of gut wrenching sorrow that sits in them. I've always been fascinated by the Madonna too, and all the imagery that surrounds her. 

Life feels a bit like this piece at the moment, but at least we can still put beautiful things on our walls.

Unique Touch: Once the prints are made, the original lino block is destroyed. Each piece is hand-printed, numbered, and completely exclusive.
